Our piano teachers, guitar teachers and voice teachers specialize in music instruction
for children and teenagers.
The teaching methods that we use, are based on a well-rounded curriculum of music theory, ear training, sight-reading, technique, rhythm, expression and performance.
All of our teachers are university trained young musicians, with extensive teaching and performing experience. Most importantly, they are trained to customize their teaching methods to each student's learning style, needs and talents.

Tarzana music Center is open 7 days a week and offers music lessons and a wide variety of musical instruments and sheet music for young musicians.

Piano Lessons
Our piano program offers only private instruction, which is the most effective way to enhance the student's talents and abilities.
Learning the piano is an excellent way to start playing music for all ages, from toddlers through adults.
The piano is an incredibly versatile instrument, and is great for developing a comprehensive knowledge
of music that can later be applied to all instruments and styles of music.

Guitar Lessons
Our guitar program offers only private instruction, which is the most effective way to enhance the student's talents and abilities.
Guitar lessons are offered for all ages, levels, and styles of guitar playing and performance. Students may choose between classical, jazz, rock, and/or blues guitar. All guitar lessons offer students the opportunity to not only learn their favorite songs, but also learn the fundamentals of music and guitar playing including reading music/notation, music theory, and composition.
Guitar lessons are offered for all ages and levels of players, from beginning through advanced; from 5 years old through adult.

Singing Lessons
California Music Academy offers a wide spectrum of vocal lessons suitable for singers of all ages and experience levels.
Our voice and singing program emphasize the development of proper vocal technique to protect the voice, improve sound production and gain confidence for personal enjoyment or public performances.
Students have the opportunity to learn basic posture, breathing, and diction. Special emphasis will be placed on basic stage etiquette, poise, and stage pres-ence in an informal atmosphere free of pressure.
